Roger Hill, MD MPH
Dr. Hill joined our practice in 1992. Roger loves Table Rock Family Medicine and
hopes that you will too. He attended medical school in Loma Linda, California and completed his
residency in Hinsdale, Illinois. Dr. Hill is married and has two daughters. His hobbies include bike
riding and hiking and he is known to occasionally do a triathlon.
Gandhari Loomis, DO
Dr. Loomis, originally from Erie, Pennsylvania, graduated from medical
school at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, PA. In 2008, she completed her
internship and residency at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC.
She joined Table Rock Family Practice on May 3, 2010.
Jennifer Olson, MD
Dr. Olson is originally from Worthington, Minnesota, and spent her childhood
in central Wisconsin. She joined our practice in 2002. Dr. Olson graduated medical
school from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. She completed her residency
in Newport News, Virginia at Riverside Family Medicine where she served as Chief
Resident. In her spare time, Dr. Olson enjoys spending time with family and working on her small farm.
Clay W. Richardson MD
Dr. Richardson is from Hendersonville, and founded Table Rock Family Medicine in 1985. He went to college and medical
school in Chapel Hill and completed his residency in Asheville. He has one daughter of his own plus 6 daughters and 2
sons from other countries. These high school students each lived with his family for one year through the
AFS exchange program. He and his wife enjoy hiking, outdoor sports, cooking and visiting their “kids” around the world.
Deanna Scherock, MD
Dr Scherock is originally from Michigan. She graduated from medical school
at the University of Miami in Florida and completed her residency in Asheville,
NC. She joined Table Rock Family Medicine in 1997 and is currently working part-time.
Dr. Scherock has 2 sons and 1 daughter. She enjoys running, biking, and
Michael Stephanides, PA-C
Michael Stephanides has been a Physician Assistant since receiving his degree from
Bowman Gray School of Medicine in 1984. Originally from Maryland, Michael practiced
in an orthopedic practice in Greensboro for seven years before moving to Morganton
in 1990. Michael “re-joined” our practice in 2002 after he and his family worked
for two years as medical missionaries in Honduras. Michael enjoys his 3 children, running and cooking. His does speak Spanish and welcomes
the Hispanic community.
Jean Tessneer, FNP-C
Jean Tessneer is originally from Baguio City, Philippines, moved to the US in 1994. She graduated from Saint Louis University, Philippines in 1990 with a Bachelor's Degree
in Nursing and completed her Master's Degree in Family Nurse Practitioner at Western Carolina University in May 2014. Jean has over twenty four years of
nursing experience, mostly in critical care. She is married and has one son. She enjoys travel, music, running and yoga.
